A Community Win: 2025 Turkey Trot Raises $10,000 for EasterSeals PORT Health EMPOWER

Being part of events that bring people together for a greater purpose is at the heart of what we do. This year’s Turkey Trot Costume Fun Run was a perfect example of that.

Thanks to an incredible community effort, the 10th Annual Turkey Trot raised $10,000 for Easterseals PORT Health EMPOWER in Morehead City, North Carolina and we were honored to support such a meaningful cause.

A Thanksgiving Morning to Remember at the Turkey Trot

On Thanksgiving morning, families, friends, and flocks of all sizes gathered to walk, run, and celebrate together through the Star Hill area and along the Cape Carteret Trail. From creative costumes to contagious smiles, the energy was unmatched.

This event’s success is a true reflection of the leadership and vision of The GYM Cape Carteret, the proud host of the Turkey Trot. Year after year, they create a welcoming, family-friendly event that encourages movement, connection, and giving back to the community.

Supporting a Cause That Matters

Easterseals PORT Health EMPOWER in Morehead City, NC plays a vital role in supporting individuals and families across our region. Knowing this event raised $10,000 to directly support their mission made being part of the Turkey Trot even more special.
