Mark Robinson is unfit to manage a Papa John’s, but he wants to be our governor.
We cannot allow this to happen. We cannot vote for him just because of the party he
represents or for any other reasons. To begin with, Mark Robinson denies the Holocaust. In 2018, Mark Robinson posted on Facebook, “This foolishness about Hitler disarming MILLIONS of Jews and then marching them off to concentration camps is a bunch of hogwash.”
Let's also add that Mark Robinson is an aspiring Nazi. Last month, CNN reported allegations of impropriety that Robinson has not been able to explain away, and the corroborating evidence is strong. Robinson’s name and email address are connected to an account on pornography website Nude Africa, where he has made some very family-unfriendly comments - some too lewd for CNN to report at all - including calling himself a “Black Nazi.”
Furthermore, Mark Robinson has spoken out against abortion, but his actions don’t match his words. “Abortion in this country is not about protecting the lives of mothers. It’s about killing the child because you weren’t responsible enough to keep your skirt down.” But when it comes to Robinson himself, he gives himself a pass - he even ran advertisements about an abortion his then-girlfriend had to exploit the story while doubling down and favoring abortion restriction for others. Mark Robinson is a hypocrite.
"Robinson knew a legitimate investigation would not clear his name."

His staff quit because he had pro bono offers to investigate the hack, but did not accept them. Robinson knew a legitimate investigation would not clear his name. That’s why he filed a frivolous lawsuit to run down the clock on his doomed campaign. Robinson has already demonstrated he knows the lawsuit is doomed, having sharply reduced the original demand of $50 million in damages to a mere $25,000 - probably not enough to cover the cost of litigation. But he’s gotten the publicity from filing the suit, a news cycle or two, which is transparently the only reason Robinson sued.
Robinson’s private speech, where he believes no one will ever read it, demonstrates who he truly is. He has denounced transgender people and threatened violence to someone using the “wrong” bathroom, but on Nude Africa he watched transgender pornography and left comments about how much he loved watching it, even calling himself a “perv.” What Robinson looks at in his own time is his own business, but if you listen to what he says about other people, his actions make him the worst of the worst according to Robinson’s own professed moral beliefs as a radical evangelical Christian. Robinson also said he peeped on women as a teenager and still thinks about it to get sexually aroused, which is not only gross, it’s illegal and wrong by any standard. He is no paragon of virtue to judge anyone else.
"Robinson’s private speech, where he believes no one will ever read it, demonstrates who he truly is."
As Lieutenant Governor, Robinson has not been preparing to be Governor. The State Constitution gives little power to a Lieutenant Governor, but it does give them a platform to seek the top office. Robinson has only worked as a furniture factory worker and at Papa John’s. He has no policy achievements and no qualifications for governor. He only became famous because he made a pro-gun speech that went viral. We must reject this type of political strategy as a civilized society.
The Republican Party has disowned him. The Republican Governors Association was buying TV advertisements for Robinson, but following the scandal, they cut off his money completely. Sen. Thom Tillis, a fellow Republican, has called on Robinson to disprove the allegations or step aside. Robinson has ignored Tillis and also can’t take a hint from Donald Trump.
If that's not bad enough, even Donald Trump claims not to know anything about him any more. Trump really loved Robinson at one time. Now when Trump is asked about Robinson, he says, “I’m not familiar with the state of the race. I haven’t seen it.”
Don’t waste your vote on the perverted blowhard. Vote for Josh Stein!
If you need more reasons to vote for Josh Stein, I will be publishing another piece about him in the next coming week. So make sure that you subscribe to our emails.
